Safety & Health Management System

Hyosung Heavy Industries recognizes the critical importance of workplace safety, health, and management due to the nature of the manufacturing and construction industries. We have developed our vision, strategies, and safety and health policies to align with the specific characteristics of our Construction and Power & Industrial Systems divisions. To ensure a safe working environment, our top management, the CSOs of the Construction and Power & Industrial Systems divisions, and all employees are fully committed to doing their best.

Corporate Occupational Safety & Health Policy

Hyosung Heavy Industries is dedicated to upholding its management philosophy of prioritizing life and safety by implementing the principles and action plans of our integrated Occupational Safety & Health policy. This policy combines the safety and health guidelines of our Construction and Power & Industrial Systems divisions. Through this Safety & Health policy, we have established measures to enhance workplace safety and health, promote employee well-being, and improve customer safety. We ensure that not only our employees but also our partners, suppliers, and outsourcing partners are encouraged to support and adhere to this policy.

Safety & Health Management Goals

Hyosung Heavy Industries has established and is implementing a long-term roadmap and action plan to achieve "ZERO Serious Accidents and Injuries" across all workplaces. We have set quantitative safety and health indicators tailored to the characteristics of our Construction and Power & Industrial Systems divisions. For the Power & Industrial Systems division, we use the Lost Time Injury Rate (LTIR) as a key metric, while the Construction division focuses on the Fatality Rate (number of fatalities ÷ number of workers × 10,000). Our goal is to create accident-free workplaces in both divisions.
