ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational health and safety management systems)
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international organization whose mission is to promote international trade through the standardization of facilities and activities associated with service goods, and to enhance cooperation in the fields of technology, science, and economic activities.
ISO 45001 certification is an international standard that prescribes requirements for predicting and preventing various workplace risks in advance, thereby contributing to the creation of corporate profits and systematic safety & health management within the organization.
All domestic manufacturing sites of Hyosung Heavy Industries acquired ISO 45001:2018 certification.
KOSHA-MS (Occupational safety and health management system)
Hyosung Heavy Industries' Changwon Plant obtained KOSHA-MS (Occupational safety and health management system) certification.
KOSHA-MS is an independently developed occupational safety and health management system that reflects the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the international standard (ISO 45001), and the International Labor Organization (ILO)'s recommendation on the establishment of a safety and health management system. It is an initiative that promotes voluntary disaster prevention activities by accepting applications from business sites, reviewing them, and awarding certificates to workplaces that meet a minimum standard.
