Asset Performance Management Solutions (ARMOUR)

Hyosung Heavy Industries was the first company in Korea to develop a power equipment asset performance management (APM) solution. ARMOUR is name of our power equipment APM solution brand. As an abbreviation of Asset Remote Management System for Operational Utility Reliability, it is a total management solution for power equipment that combines internet-based information technology with power equipment operation technology.

ARMOUR integrates not only international standards such as IEC, IEEE, and CIGRE, but also the expertise of power equipment manufacturers into products, services, and operating systems to manage the entire life cycle of facility assets in a systematic and integrated manner.

ARMOR's analysis model was built based on over three decades of our in-house design, manufacturing, and maintenance data. This facilitates the risk assessment of assets and the development of optimal maintenance and repair strategy.

We signed an MOU with KEPCO in June 2022 for business cooperation in the fields of preventive diagnosis and asset management. By integrating the solutions of both companies, we are promoting the implementation of a more effective business model, and full-fledged services will be available in the first half of 2023.
